3/2/2007 قضية الشيخ آلي تصبح قضية الأسبوع الخامس وداد عقراوي widad.akrawi@woea.dk بعد أن تقدمت بطلب إلى مسؤلة المجموعة الدنماركية للعمل ضد التعذيب بالاهتمام بقضية الشيخ محي الدين شيخ آلي قررت المجموعة باختيار قضيته كقضية تُبعث لجميع الأعضاء في الأسبوع الخامس لسنة 2007. أدناه ستجدون نسخاً للرسائل التي ستُطبع وتوقع وترسل إلى السلطات السورية. من خلالها يتم الإعراب عن القلق من اعتقال الشيخ محي الدين شيخ آلي في الحبس الانفرادي وفي مكان مجهول. ويتم دعوة السلطات إلى الكشف عن مكان وجوده فورا، و إلى ضمان عدم تعرضه للتعذيب أو سوء المعاملة، وتذكير السلطات بأن التعذيب في تقرير الأمم المتحدة المعني بالتعذيب هو "أكثر ما يمارس خلال فترة الحبس الانفرادي ، وينبغي الإفراج دون إبطاء عن كافة الأشخاص الذين يحتجزون هناك". ويتم أيضاً حث السلطات على السماح للشيخ محي الدين شيخ آلي بزيارات من عائلته ، وبتزويده بمحامي من اختياره وبأي علاج طبي قد يحتاجه، وأخيراً دعوة السلطات إلى إطلاق سراحه فوراً ما لم يكن متهماً بتهمة جنائية. بإمكانكم استنساخ الرسائل وإرسالها إلى الجهات المعنية: فخامة الرئيس السوري ومعالي وزير الدفاع ومعالي وزير الخارجية ونسخ منها إلى السفارة السورية في السويد. مع شكر وتقدير وداد عقراوي سفيرة منظمة العفو الدولية لوقف التعذيب وعضوة الهيئة القيادية العليا لمنظمة العفو الدولية ـ الدنمارك ملاحظة: أي آراء قد تنشر بخصوص أي موضوع اكتبه أو أية حملة أقوم بها يعبر عن مواقف أصحابها ولا علاقة لي ولمنظمة العفو الدولية بمحتواها. I urge you to allow Muhi al-Din Sheikh A’ali visits from his family, a lawyer of his choosing and any medical treatment he may require. Finally, I call on you to release Muhi al-Din Sheikh A’ali immediately unless he is to be charged with a recognizably criminal offence.
